Origin and Terroir The grapes for this Riesling originate from the single vineyard Leiten in the southern Kremstal wine region. With its southern exposure, a gradient of steep 25% and weathered primary rock, it forms a magnificent Riesling vineyard site. Due to the closeness to the Danube river, there are high temperature fluctuations between night and day which give the wines elegant fruity aromas. Vinification The grapes were harvested with full physiological ripeness. They were rushed to the cellar and gently processed. The fermentation was completed in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks. After the fermentation, the wine was racked and allowed to rest on the fine lees. During this time, the wine had the chance to develop its characteristic aroma before being bottled. Tasting notes Medium green-yellow in the glass, aromas of ripe vineyard peaches, very elegant structure on the palate, fine spicy notes, very fruity, fine acidity and structure; a wine with good length and aging potential. Drink and Meal Recommendation This powerful and characteristic Riesling is a great companion to spicy and flavorful dishes. The unique elegance and finesse make it the perfect match for any special occasion.
